Lili and Larry are euphoric to report that we have sold all 68 of our Shocking Pink lotus tubers ( 2 remain in the certified collection pond)! Therefore we will donate $2,100 to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester on the first day of LotusFest 2023, July 28, 2023. Shocking Pink was first announced for sale on February 11, 2023. Within a minute, Mr. Justin Titus of Kansas would be the person to order. Justin is a Past President of the International Waterlily and Water Gardening Society and avid waterlily grower. Over the next several months, orders would come in from Massachusetts to Hawaii; 21 different states in all. About 1/3 of the Shocking Pink Lotus are being grown right here in New York State. Many of the orders contained personal and supportive messages for Lili. Sorry, we are sold out of Shocking Pink Lotus tubers and plants for 2023. Lili and Larry would like to thank everyone who purchased a Shocking Pink Lotus tuber and helped us achieve our goal. Lili wants to thank everyone for their kind words and prayers as she continues her recovery. Fortunately Lili is doing well and her surgeries and radiation treatments were successful.
