LotusFest 2023

Join us for the start of the 2023 Lotus Season at Bergen Water Gardens. Visit the largest public collection of lotus outside of China. Bergen Water Gardens is thrilled to introduce traditional Chinese music to our 2023 LotusFest. Sample Lotus pizza, Lotus Chips and Lotus Pickles. Bergen Water Gardens is excited to welcome Thai dancers from Wat Buddhakunaram of Niagara Falls, New York. Thai Dance is an art form with distinctive and beautiful costumes. Their performance will be on Saturday July 29th at 12:00 pm. We have just received confirmation that Ted Hildebrant of Coldwater Pond Nursery will be providing a pop up with his unusual and beautiful dwarf conifers and Japanese Maples, plus much more. Complete details HERE Bergen Water Gardens is pleased to welcome members of the Toronto Water Gardening Society to Lotus Fest 2023. The delegation is lead by the Past President of the International Waterlily and Water Gardening Society, Rowena Burns. Members of the former Niagara Frontier Koi and Pond Club will also be attendance. We are honored that Jim Marlow will be answering orchid questions for us in greenhouse #6. Jim is a champion orchid grower and was THE source for orchids in the Rochester area via Marlow’s Orchids. James Wisniewski, of Buffalo, will also be visiting on Saturday. James is a premier Nepenthes grower and also has an extensive house plant collection. Results of Shocking Pink Lotus Fundraiser Artist Brandi Hand of Hand-Crafted Art will be joining us on Saturday and Sunday with her unique necklaces, earrings, pendants, and tree of life minis on rocks.
