R-IMG_4926 LotusFest 2023 in Review

LotusFest 2023 provided several firsts this year. Our live Chinese music proved to be extremely popular thanks to Ms. Kristin Kaihong Liu. Our guests on Saturday were treated to a performance by Thai dancers from Wat Buddhakunaram of Niagara Falls, New York. Sadly it was raining but the ladies still danced under the roof of the pole barn porch. They are planning to return in 2024 to dance among the lotus flowers!

We had record attendance on our lotus tours on all three days, with remarkable participation on Sunday, during almost perfect weather. We estimate we had over 1,000 visitors on that Sunday alone! Our lotus pickles were a huge hit! Our lotus looked spectacular! Thank you to Teresa Shreiber Werth for displaying her amazing pieces of art, incorporating lotus.

Special Thanks to our talented and enthusiastic staff: Jeff, Josh, Kelly and Alaura A special thanks to Audrey for her help and to Jim and Austin for their help!

Join us on July 26, 27 and 28, 2024 for LotusFest 2024!

Thank you to Adriana Loh, from Spectrum News 1, who put together this wonderful report.
