Jian Lian 17 Lotus Edible Seed Lotus- All ship in SPRING!

Jian Lian 17 Lotus  is a large white lotus,  with pink tips, which produces sweet edible lotus seed.  Fresh lotus seed is a delicious addition to a garden salad. The flower of Jian Lian 17 is large, with the potential for an enormous plant. Jian Lian 17 may be grown in your pond and add it to our largest porcelain pot on your deck or patio.

Jian Lian 17 produces many seed in its large seed pod. Simply peel off the green skin when the seed is only a light green color.  Now you can eat the seed directly or you boil it when seed turns to brown color. In China, eating lotus seed in summer time  it will aid in your digestion and help to purify your inner body. During autumn, Cantonese will use lotus seed to make the famous moon cake for Mid Autumn Festival. It is very delicious cake!
