Rhynchostylis gigantea Blue
$45.00
Rhynchostylis gigantea Blue is a new color form for us in late 2023. Pictures seem to indicate more of a pink hue but we will update as soon as they bloom.
February 2024 our first flowers have appeared at our nursery. This is our description: a full petal warm, vibrant red with a softer purple pink in the center.
Rhynchostylis gigantea usually flowers in December through February which a beautiful spray of flowers. The scent is strong and rather spicy. We water ours daily but allow the roots and media to dry out. The roots tend to be brittle so soaking in water may help before repotting. The plants are currently anchored in small plastic baskets.
Plants are not currently in spike or bloom.
