Tour Bergen Water Gardens and Lotus Paradise
Garden Clubs and civic groups are welcome to tour Bergen Water Gardens and visit our certified Lotus Collection. To schedule a tour, contact Larry Nau at [email protected] or 585-202-1815.
- Late July through early September is the best time to visit
- Morning tours starting at 10 or 11 am are ideal as single petal lotus will close by 2:00 PM
- The maximum guests is 25, but we are flexible
- A fee is $50 donation to the Bergen Swamp Preservation Society
- Tour waterlilies and certified lotus collection with a quick walk through carnivorous plants and orchid greenhouse
- Tours normally last 90 minutes
- Many groups bring their lunch and stay at Bergen Water Gardens
Larry Nau as Program Speaker
Larry has spoken to dozens of gardens clubs which are members of the Federated Garden Clubs of New York State over the past 23 years. Larry has served as a Board Member and Executive Director of the International Waterlily and Water Gardening Society. He has also served as President of the American Conifer Society and President of the Northeast Region of the ACS. Programs are given via PowerPoint at your meeting location.
