Porcelain Lamp Koi and Lotus

Porcelain Lamp Koi and Lotus is a tall table lamp with a short black lacquer stand. The lotus is pink and white, with lush green leaves. The koi are actually traditional Chinese carp with muted colors. The lamp is special due to the accents in the porcelain, which allow more light to pass through.

The lamps are made from finest clay from the hillsides near Jingdezhen. The mixture must be just right to allow the creation of a thin “film” of porcelain within the mold. This mixture must be perfect to allow the light to shine through. These lamps are fragile but gorgeous additions to any decor.
