Bergen Water Gardens is pleased to offer a unique tropical lotus for 2015. The lotus was created at Sanshui Lotus World near Guangzhou China. Its name is 18 Little Red and it is one of the few tropical lotus which will produce a tuber. This lotus features a long blooming season but most not be allowed to freezing and it best kept above 50 degrees F.

This variety is NOT winter hardy, it must be in a greenhouse for the winter.

Sanshui Lotus World is a premier site in China to view lotus. Lotus World is the largest lotus ecologically themed park in the world. Lotus are grown in a natural habitat and spread 132 acres!
