Super variegated is a beautiful variety of the vanilla orchid which normally have all green leaves. Vanilla is a vining orchid which needs to be supported and staked. Cedar or cypress posts are popular for this. A mature plant will produce a yellow flower which only lasts for a day. To produce a vanilla bean. this flower needs to be hand pollinated on that morning.
