Nymphaea ‘Scarlet Flame’ is back for 2016. Scarlet Flame is an outstanding, brilliant red tropical waterlily. This magnificent flower can have over 100 petals and petaloids and will not burn in the hot sun. The pads are a rich green and this is compact grower. Nymphaea ‘Scarlet Flame’ was introduced by Florida Aquatic Nurseries in 2011. It was entered in the International Waterlily and Water Gardening Society’s New Waterlily competition and won Best New Tropical Waterlily and the People’s Choice Award in 2011.
