$ 35.00
Nymphaea ‘Foxfire’ features a blue flower with pink petaloids. Foxfire’s flowers are large: 8 to 9 inches in diameter. Leaves are maroon with green mottling and may get as large as 19 inches across! Nymphaea Foxfire can grow to a giant waterlily, with a 10 feet spread if fed on a regular basis. Developed by Craig Presnell in 2003, Foxfire was the 2004 IWGS Best New Waterlily of the year and Best New Tropical. For over thirteen years Foxfire has been one of the mostly highly prized tropical waterlilies among pondkeepers.

Best of Show in our pond. Kept blooming & blooming, & blooming. Not profuse, but at least one bloom per week for months. I plan to divide
it each spring. The pads are larger than most, edges are slightly serrated & upraised.
Will re-pot with more soil, and feed more this year. See slideshow…

I would expect Foxfire to be an excellent bloomer in southern, CA. Here in NY we can enjoy 3 to 4 flowers at a time. Definitely a larger pot is suggested as this can be a huge plant. We use 2 Pondtabbs Plus in a 10 inch pot every 2 weeks here in NY. A larger pot I would use more. Hopefully you have multiple tubers so you can divide but I would have suggested pulling and tubers and storing or repotting back in December, unless it was still growing.
