To start our annual waterlilies, they must first grow in the warmth of our greenhouse. 2012 is a great year as the first annual (tropical) waterlilies made it outside to our display ponds by May 18th. Early in the season, the flowers are much smaller on the plants. The color of the flower may also be deeper in color during the cooler weather.
