Pond Aeration For Winter and Summer

Pond aeration is important in both the winter in summer seasons. During the summer it insures maximum gas exchange and guarantees maximum oxygen levels in the water. During the winter aeration is the most cost effective way to maintain a hole in the ice to permit toxic gases to escape. We offer several models of air pumps to aerate your water garden or koi pond:

PondAir 2 and PondAir 4

Costing virtually nothing to run, you can feel good about providing constant aeration to your pond. Airflow Control Dial Dial-in aeration output with the twist of your finger. The airflow control dial enables you to restrict airflow to your pond when desired without the need for tools or stone adjustments. Simply turn the dial to restrict airflow or run the aeration pump at full output for maximum aeration. Black Vinyl Airline Flexible black vinyl airline allows for strategic air stone placement to maximize air and water circulation. PondAir™ vinyl airline has an approximate inside diameter of 1/8” and is packaged in 30’ lengths. Directional Check Valves Water tends to climb aeration airlines when your aeration pump is powered down. Airflow check valves allow oxygen to travel outwards from the aeration pump while preventing water from traveling into the lines when not in use to prevent potential water damage to your aeration unit. Air Stone Diffusers Designed to improve oxygen absorption, these 2” diameter air stones create ultra-fine air bubbles that infuse oxygen directly into the water column.

Diffuser Plate Assembly Each KoiAir™ diffuser plate utilizes a sturdy base plate and 1-piece weighted distribution block. The distribution block incorporates a 3/8” barbed inlet for quick hook-up to the included EasySet™ airline while providing threaded female outlets to accommodate 2 membrane diffuser sticks. Membrane Stick Diffusers Designed to improve oxygen absorption, our diffuser membranes deliver all of the performance of air stone diffusers without the hassles of replacing cracked stones or frequent cleanings due to debris accumulations.
